The Commission
LaDeDa Productions were commissioned to produce a full sing (all singing) 30 second radio commercial that encapsulated the company, their products and services and their place in the community
The Process
Before the production commenced, we had regular consultations with the client to understand exactly what they wanted to achieve, identifying their business, the target market and what radio stations the jingle would be featured with. They were asked to submit some key words for lyrical content and a copy of two pieces of music that they particularly liked from a genre that reflected their music and cultural background. Once all the information was received, we set about researching the music, sourcing all the vocalists and musicians who would feature on this production, and commenced writing and producing a demo version of the advert. The initial concept demo was forwarded to the client and Forever Broadcasting for approval and clearance. A few minor changes were made and the full production got underway. On completion, the masters were edited and sent to Forever Broadcasting, ready for transmission.
The Outcome
The client and Forever Broadcasting were thrilled with the end result. It had surpassed their expectations and the crew at LaDeDa were delighted with the outcome. The result was a quality radio jingle that achieved the following:
The lyrics and melody are catchy and memorable
It clearly features the company name and their core business and services
The style of music and arrangement is a true reflection of the client’s music and cultural background
The production is very closely related to the music featured on the broadcasting radio stations and relevant to the target audience in those areas
It is contributing to the brand development and establishment of Surplus City
